With a PhD in Industrial Engineering and working with materials and corrsion science for
over 10 years, Mahla has seen how materials perform-or fail-in marine environments, with
real consequences to humans and ecosystems. Turning that insight into impact, she now
designs shipping containers built to last and engineered to protect life, both above and
below water.
Mahla visualises maritime infrastructure through advanced engineering based on
the principles of a circular economy. She articulates, “For us, sustainability isn't a
feature, it's our foundation”.
